Default Re: tranny rebuilt vs. overhaul!

Here we go. An over hauled tranny has new clutches, seals, and gaskets. A mechanic will buff the steels and reuse the band, but that depends on condition of the band and steels. A rebuilt tranny has new clutches, seals, gaskets, band, bushings, washers, and steels.
