Redoing alot on my car right now.
If i am correct your soupose to choose your gear specific to everyhitng else to the car.
I'm not looking to get badass gas mileage here or anyhting crazy like that. i want to end up at the 1/4 mile not having to shift into fourth obviously but not be at like 3K when passing the finshline

has 4l60e in it still

Tires in rear

315-30-18

Tires up front
275-35-18

Converter performabuilt 4000K

Motor 405HP on motor

spraying a 150 shot


What gear for me?
3.73 390.410 etc

Thanks BOB. I didnt know if i shouold go to a 3.90 or not wasnt sure having a 18 inch rims and all.

Did I understand you right as you do not want to be pulling 3K(rpms) in 3rd gear? 3.73 ratio in 3rd will put you way over that unless you are going 55mph through the trap.
