Im gonna say that those gears are a good choice especially if you plan to hit the highway at all. I would imagine your revs would get pretty high for a DD with the TH400. But I also notice you are on a brake, so clearly performance is of priority. Some are going to tell you how bad the spool will be in a DD and others will praise it. I went with a spool and 4.30 gear in my M6.

nice. yeah im at like 3000 rpm going 60mph. talked to a couple local guys with f-bodys. they told me full spool should be ok for DD. but the bad side is make u-turns and backing out.

3.73's are usually the best all round gear for an auto
I dont see how you can daily drive that thing
and to think I was wonderin if my nittos would be a bitch to daily

Planning on DD a 9'' with a spool and I have 315 M/T's right now with no probs unless it rains, LOL I am dreading the spool too and may back out right before I order, LOL Gears will be 3.25 or 3.50 for my turbo and I have a 4l80e as well but would go with 3.73's if it were N/A for sure. I have 3.42's right now which are ok but the 3.73's would really wake it up I think.

You can get a 9" in 4ch.. but if you spool it, it wont matter anyway. The abs and traction control wont work right with a spool. Just an FYI

I agree, I only notice a spool myself in very tight corners. Bob

We've sold quite a few spooled Moser 9 inch rears with the 4 channel option. In theory it shouldn't work worth a crap, but I've never had anyone that I've sold one to, call me back to tell me it doesn't work. All the rears we've done with spools at our shop have been with deleting the ABS/TCS, so we don't first hand though. I would think that it would possibly throw a light on at certain times, but then it would turn back off once driving for a while. Bob

Give me a call on Moday and I will set you up with pricing. We are also in Sacramento so you can pick it up at our shop if you want. Let me know.

$2,575.00 shipped to your door, with the Truetrac, 31 spline axles and ABS. Since I am from out of your state you won't have to pay sales tax, if it applies in Ca. Bob
