You need 2 series gears. They will go right in. I went with Motive 3.73's 2 series, and they are great. All I bought was the ring and pinion, new fluid, and posi additive (wasnt needed but I got it anyway). Do it, and don't look back. I love my 3.73's.

2 series *THICK* 3.73 gears will work.

Also buy an install kit that includes every bearing. It is recommended to replace ALL of them and their respective races.

well i bought a Richmond set and went back and looked where i got them from and they are series #3 they must have 3.23 or numericly higher oem gear so those aren't gonna work and thanks guys for saving me a senseless tear-down thanks a lot i guess i just need to pay more attention when im buying stuff, it's been a long time and i don't think they'll let me send them back thanks again.

I thought there was a way to get 3 series to fit in a 2 series carrier...a spacer or something..
