Exclamation Rear end busted hole in tunnel!!

Has this ever happend to anyone? I noticed it when I removed the carpeting... a 1" hole at the end of the driveshaft tunnel. What caused the hole? Its the top bolt that connects my Spohn TA to the Moser 9"... Im on stock shocks and springs and still have the bump stops...

Has this ever happened to anyone?

Do you think its caused by launching hard at the track or maybe in the streets somewhere when I had a couple people in back seats?

Ill try to get some pics up tomorrow...

it's the torque arm bracket and the upper bolt on the rear end housing.

I have seen several aftermarket torque arms that seem to do that. Especially on 12 bolt and 9" rear ends. Sometimes if you play with it and do a little hammering yourself you will avoid the torque arm "clearancing" itself. On other cars we have seen NO way to avoid it hitting the tunnel no matter how we set it up...

This is the only thing from stopping me from buying a 9" rear. My car will be lowered and I don't know if I'll have enough clearance in the tunnel area with my torque arm.
