Default Going from 3.42s to 4.11s with a 6sp.

Is it really that much of a gain IF you also go from a 255/40/17 to say 275/60/15 MT 28" tires, i'm running 255/40/17s now, but i might go with some 15/8 Pro Stars & 275/60/15 MT Radials, i've though about some 275/40/17 MTs on my existing rims, i talked with a guy with a 99 SS 6sp. running 11.9-12.0s & he said he didn't notice much from the gear change from 3.42s to 4.11s, & he is running 275/40/17 MTs.
