Default Making your own 12 bolt.

What does it really take to make a 12 bolt fit to an F-body and how hard is it. The reason I ask is because my buddy has a 12 bolt and he is willing to give it to me really cheap. I have friends who weld very good and I know a guy that works for Quarter Master and has access to using all there machines as well. What brackets would I need to make it work and were can I get them. This is just a thought that I had as to an alternative to buying one from a sponser. If anyone has done this please help. Thanks in advance.
