what brand diff. oil ??? Ok guys, I have 04 GTO rear differential was replaced by the dealer under warranty for howling noise about 6-8 months ago & now I want to change the oil. I have searched the site some use royal purple,amsoil,torco, mobil 1. All if not most are from f body. I like to know from GTO owners out there, What brand of differential oil are you using, how long, any problem so far ? What brand additive are you also using ? The oem diff. oil is $27.00 a quart & mobil,Torco is $ 10.00 a quart. Whay is oem fluid so much more than aftermarket fluid ?
