Default Parts to convert from 3 to 4 channel

I need to convert a 3-channel 10-bolt to a 4-channel 10-bolt to put in another car. What all do I need to do that? Just want to order whatever I need to minimize down time.

Thanks!

A 3 channel rear into a 4 channel car is pretty simple. You will need the backing plates off a 4 channel car, the rear speed sensors that go into each backing plate, and the reluctor rings pressed on to each axle.

Thank you. So would you say that it would be easier to get reluctor rings pressed onto the axles that I have or just get some 4-channel ready axles?

Either way - just depends on what's available to you. When most people part out their 4 chans, they have already taken the reluctor rings for their next rear. Just a thought. So it might be easier to just buy reluctor rings from the dealer/vendor.

3 channel axles and 4 channel axles are different. The 3 channel axle does not have a machined boss to accept the reluctor ring.

So I just bought a used fab 9 inch with 3 channel and have a 4 channel 10 bolt on my car right now, do I have everything I need to convert the new 9 in to a 4 channel?
