3.90 or 4.10 for hardly driven M6 w/cam+spray
Been reading old posts for the better part of an hour and half but still cant decide what to run. Its an 01 SS with 85 on the clock, MS3 and 100 dry shot. I'm in the 420+ rwhp range w/out spray. Rarely driven except on the weekends or nice days now that I have a beater. Couple questions to help me decide.
Car has the stock 3.42's in it right now, would the increase to a 3.90 be as noticable as the 4.10?
Which is better for my setup and amount of useage, car may see the track 1-3 times a year if at all.
Thanks all.
oh yeah forgot to say that right now I dont drive it enough to warrant the almost 2500 or more bucks for a 12" or 9" rear if that changes in the future then one of those will be next in line.

It depends on if you are trying to keep your rpm's in a certain range. You will feel a difference from the 3.42 to whichever gear you go with bu t4.10 will give you a little more low end. I prefer the 4.10 on 6 speed.

Yeah the low end is where im looking to get a difference right now it feel like im pulling a log wagon behind me till i hit 2900 rpms or so. I read that the 3.90 will give me a little more room to work with my nitrous is that correct?
