10 bolt 8.5 in fourth gen Does anyone know if stock 10 bolt 7.5 28 spline axles will fit a 28 spline 10 bolt 8.5 carrier? I have both, only I don't want to take the rear apart yet.

If the axles are the same lenght then yes you can put a 28 spline 10 bolt axle shaft into a 8.5" car housing since they both share the same bearing and spline. Vise versa, you can take Grand National axles and use them in the G-body 7.5 as an upgrade to 28 spline over the 26 spline stock axle.
