Default Please Help, cant get C Clip off

Putting gears in my car and im trying to remove the axles, the drivers side fell right out but I cant get the C Clip off the passengers side. Ive tried everything. its like the axle isnt going in far enough, I removed abs sensors from both sides, even tried putting a C Clamp on the passengers side but that C Clip doesnt want to budge. Anyone else ever run into this problem? What should I do?

The Clip moves around freely but doesnt seem like the axle will move in far enough to remove it.

Do you have a 3 channel or 4 channel rear??? Do you have the ABS sensor removed from the backing plate??? Its held on with a 10mm bolt. If you don't have the sensor out the axle can't go in far enough to get the c clip off. HTH

+1 on the sensor. Once the sensor is out the clips pretty much fall out.

Hey guys, thanks alot for the replys I got the issue fixed. The reason the Clip would'nt come off is because on the passengers side axle, had axle bearing repair kit was installed and didnt have quite as much room to be pushed in, and man let me tell you what a pain in the ***, next time I have it apart im going to throw that junk away and get a factory axle bearing and a new axle. Other than that gears are in, and it feels 10 times better driven an M6 with 3.42's rather than 2.73's lol
