Default Speedo Calibration

The stock 3.23 diff shot the bed. A friend gave me a 3.90 complete since he added a 9 inch. Can I use a Tech II to change the gear ratio or do I need a tuner program. Car is a stock driver, no mods.

unless GM offered a 3.90 in your camaro (which they didnt) you have to get the software or have it programed. SLP offers a module too

Dont know if you can change it w/ a handheld. But get someone to tune it for you. It takes a change of exactly 20% on your speedo. That will put you dead on. It is done by %, not mph difference.
