Steel Vs Alum Driveshaft
I have a Question I have a A4 with 373's and I just put a cam in I was doing some reading and saw that with more rpm I stand a chance of cracking my driveshaft housing at the back of the transmission with a Steel Driveshaft can I put and Alum on there or am I ok with the Steel

The steel driveshafts that came with 2.73 cars has cracked or broke many tailshaft housings at high speed and on the dyno, including mine. If you plan on staying below 120 mph and no dyno time then no need to worry, otherwise consider the change.

i went to have my car tuned and the shop told me to ditch the steel d/s with my 273s.......or else.....
i did not want that phone call once the car was on the dyno, so my aluminum d/s is on the way !!!
