Default Strange S60

Hey guys, went to the track last night and ended the night by blowing my stock 10bolt... Time for bigger and better.

I've decided to go with the Strange S60 and would like to have some feedback from any of you who have gone this route.. Ie, do the stock brakes mount up without modification, BMR Trq Arm, driveshaft length, etc... I searched other posts but cannot find the answers to these questions.

Thanks in advance, Matt.

am finishing up putting mine in tonight......the fill plug on the standard chrome rear cover is a 1/2" allen wrench BTW which is HUGE and nearly impossible to find.....which is why I haven't driven it yet!!!!

I installed the entire thing by myself in my garage....the only thing I got help with was taking the S60 out of my truck and sliding it in underneath the car

Everything fits EXACTLY like stock with the exception of some minor bending of the brake lines.....I also installed a full length adjustable BMR torque arm at the same time and it slid right in like butta and is not hitting anything as far as I can tell

The stock brakes mount perfectly but you will definitely need a shorter driveshaft which you can get from strange made for your car for a pretty decent price......I shopped around and the price of the S60 with the strange driveshaft was pretty much the same as a Moser 12 bolt or 9 inch and maybe a little cheaper than a Strange 12 bolt (without the driveshaft)

anyway sorry to ramble but so far I am pleased......will report back probably tomorrow after I drive it

took it for a ride a little while ago.....rear is just as quiet as the stock one except for a slight whine on accel

The torque arm is hitting somewhere though.....I'm going to put it on a drive-on lift tomorrow and adjust the pinion angle and see where the undercarriage needs to be massaged.....no biggie

all in all I'm satisfied with my purchase

That's some good news everyone! I was just wondering, what options did you have to order other than the Brackets/Mounts?

I have Traction Control and ABS, this means I need the 4 Channel option right? Please let me know as I just finalized the order today, and still have time to change this if needed. Also, do either of you have a measurement for the shortened driveshaft length?

Yes, you need the 4-channel option. No clue on the driveshaft length part of the question though...

you shouldn't need to measure the driveshaft......just tell them it is for an f-body and they will know what you need

yes you have 4 channel
