When I asked Eric, he said the stock length will work, but you need a 1350 conversion U-joint on the rear of the driveshaft, to bolt to the 9" yoke.

I went ahead and bought a Strange 3" CM driveshaft from him anyway though.

stock 98-02 aluminum driveshaft is rated at.... weak. they are extremely light because of a thin wall tube being used. i have seen them break on the street with regular street tires. a stock shaft sure can be used with a conversion u-joint, but it will become the weak link in the driveline. its a matter of when, not if, it fails. and if it does fail, the repairs usually cost more than the good driveshaft in the first place. and then you still have to get a good driveshaft. see where this is going?

Why spend all that $ and run a weak stock driveshaft? Get a strange Chromo from Eric at Midwest for $295 shipped. Good insurance for your high dollar investment. I got mine in the same week I ordered it through him. Just my .02
