Broke the 10-Bolt Again.
I sheard some bolts on my carrier when I was running forced induction. I'm NA now, but the rear broke again when I got on it. I had a few bolts missing on the carrier, and another one sheared off. The carrier is trashed with gouges etc.
I'm looking at a few carriers that look good, but I want to make sure they are right for my car. I've got a 4 channel, 3 series rear end. Here's one that I'm looking at.
Will any 10 bolt 7.5/7.625 28 spline series 3 posi work?
Series 3 POSI for 7.5 GM/Chevy 10 bolt rear with 28 Spline axles.
Series 3 carrier with bearings
10 bolt 7.5/7.625
use with 28 spline axles
Eaton Gov-lock Factory GM POSI
Here's another.
gm 7.5 10 bolt 3 series 28 spline posi unit. this unit take s 3:23 ---- 5:13 gears and is ready to install and go in any gm 7.5 10 bolt rear with 28 spline axels.
Thank you for your help.

I'm getting ready to "beef up" the 10 bolt as opposed to putting in a 12 bolt. I am going to go with the Torsen T2 and Moser axles, TA cover and last but not least weld the axle tubes to the housing and from what i've learned that GM only spot welded two spots on each side (cheap) and that the tubes are known for twisitng out. My main reason is that I am not going to be drag racing this, well maybe once or twice but that's it. My goal is to just take it out on a road course only.any other ideas from experience will greatly appreciated too!
