Default NE1 know fluid capacity for a 9" rearend?

I looked in the sticky's but it's not there....

I have a fill port and a drain port. I know most just fill the rearend till fluid starts coming out the stock fill port in the side but unfortunately the stock one sits under the torque arm mount bracket.... So I can't use that as a fill marker.....

I want to actually use the fill and drain ports that I paid for....

TIA!!!!!

a normal 9 inch takes about 3 quarts. A fab 9 should take 4 ish. I dont know if the moser 9 takes any more then a 9 inch out of a old ford truck.

A Moser 9 inch takes approx 3-1/3 quarts of 80/90 weight non synthetic gear oil. Even though the fill hole is behind the torque arm bracket, we still use it to check the fluid level. Bob
