Default GM Limitred Slip Axle Lubricant Additive

really works?? i had the oil on the diff changed last week cuz of some minor problems and i forgot to add the limited slip additive...does this really work? and since we changed the oil its seems like my gears make more noise than they did before i changed the oil....The oil says it reduces chatter and noise in the rear axle, is it true?

It works if you have clutches in your differential. You don't need it if you have a Truetrac or a locker. Bob
