Default Rearend 1st?

I'm thinking to the future and wondering if the next significant purchase I make should be a 9" or 12 bolt rearend? Planning on upgrading the LS1 M6 with some sort of forced induction, but haven't decide on which route to take. I know I'm being silly here, but I'd like to be competitive against the newest crop of muscle cars coming out (Shelby, Camaro, Challenger, etc.). So should I spend the dollars on the rearend/drive shaft, turbo/super charger or something else first?

Since you have the M6 transmission you are likely to break the 10 bolt without a whole lot of effort. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=145
Check the link out above to my prices on the Moser 9 inch. Let me know if you have any questions. Bob

My line of thought is build the car to handle big power first, then build the motor to make that power.....hence why I've got a slow car with bullet proof drivetrain.

Thanks for advice! So what would you recommend as far as options for the Moser 9 inch? Should the drive shaft be replaced at the same time? I'm not in a rush to get it (mid/late 2009), but I do want a plan in place. Particularly, since I'll have to factor in shipping to Hawaii and paying a garage to install it.

Definitely do the driveshaft at the same time, the nine inch really needs to have a driveshaft that is one inch longer than the stock one. When we ship out a PST driveshaft for the nine inch, we have it made one inch longer. Bob
