Is there any diff between the years of these tranys 6l80/6l90 ?

and can they run with say a vacume conversion ?

Yes i did get it fixed! Sent the 6l80e to circle-d for rebuild and also had them make us a tune. Bought a new TCM from a chevy dealer and flashed it to my vin. Loaded the tune from circle-d and all slipping problems over. I must say that i hav'nt had it to the track yet but i can tell it's ok now by the way it acts on the street. All the work was done at Va. Speed.

Update on my circle-d trans build.
Working great on the street as i only push about 600hp.
But on the dyno the other day when it got to 833rwhp the converter was unlocking so we having protorque set up a triple disc for this car.

BTW, the circle-d trans hung in there all the way.

Great to hear the trans is performing well. The Triple disc is a definite must at these HP levels. Let us know if we can help you with anything else.
