Default Gforce engineering irs fab 9

Hey guys,

Thought I would give you all a sneak peak at our fabbed IRS 9" housing were developing for the Camaro.
This is the base housing that we will use for several platforms. We have tooling that will allow us to jig locate brackets to bolt the fabbed IRS 9" into the Camaro, G8, CTS-V and the GTO.
The rear will also come with our 300m axles and choice of aluminum or carbon fiber driveshaft .
The housing was all designed in 3-D CAD and fit together perfect the first time

Thanks
Chris

Hey Chris, I think I just fragged my Richmond geared stock unit tonight. Just had them installed on the 6th of August. I guess that's what I get for thinking GM could put a stout rear in a Camaro. Didn't even get it to the track yet.
Can you PM or better yet email me the details along with cost for this setup? My email is red306bullet@verizon.net

Thanks,

Just got the pricing figured out.

pricing.

$5562.

Here is what you get.
  • Fabricated bolt in housing
  • Powder coated to what ever color you want (Black is standard)
  • BMR heavy duty bushings.
  • Strange Engineering Pro Iron center section w/gears and Truetrac installed and set up
  • 3.5" Aluminum Driveshaft (Add $400. for Carbon Fiber)
  • 300m Axles and stubs

The best part about the 9" is you'll be able to change out gears for dirt cheap. Alot of guys that run 9" rears will have 2 drop out pumpkins, one with say 4.56 gears for the track and one with 3.xx gears for the highway. Since the 9" is a drop out style rear, all you have to do is swap the pumpkins out and your done, no setting up the gears or anything.

For those of you that dont know anything about a 9", you set the pumpkin (the center section part) up on a bench and then you just bolt it in the housing. Very easy to work on.

Thanks
Chris

Awesome Chris. As soon as you get the 9" done for the Camaro, please yell. Plus I'd like the Outlaw Axles if that is the way to go. The only other thing is a Truetrac versus a locker. You know better than I do.

Sure thing Bruce. We're installing our first 9" IRS into a bad *** CTS-V in a couple weeks.
When I get one ready I'll send it your way. And yes, we can do the Outlaw axles but you'll have to modify the control arms a bit.

Thanks
Chris

Actually if you go with 35 spline, a Moser Wavetrac would be a unit I'd love to try out.

33 spline is standard and 35 is an option with our 9" and you cant go wrong with the wave trac and it's lifetime warranty

LSXtv.com is going to do a full write up on the first kit going into a tricked out cts-v in a about a week.

We've been cranking out parts on the cnc mill the last couple days so production should start here real soon.

Thanks
Chris
