Default How Fast Have you Gone in your 2010 Camaro??

as the topic notes... also are these cars electronic governed??

now I know the risk of traveling at high speeds on public road and its very unsafe to do so, but we all have the need for speed. Im not here to get anyone in trouble, Im not an officer of the law. I just wanna know. My best which would probably be nothing for most of you is 125 in my Z its still governed Im just waiting to get a few things done before I purchase tuner software.

What sucks is that since the rear tires are so tall and the gear ratio is the same, my car was doing around 170 at the top of 4th on the dyno. We had to remove the speed limiter to get a proper dyno.

So what does it feel like at those freaky fast speeds???

My 1999 Z28 was flat out scary past 120mph. It never felt real stable and planted, kind if felt like it was going to fly off the road. I had the speedo pegged past 150mph in that sucker.

My current car, a slow *** 1991 350 TBI RWD Cadillac, I've had up to 110mph. Took forever to get there, but it felt like a damn train going that speed, no float or anything.

You can thank the shitty stock shocks for that floating, nervous feeling. If you ever get another 4th gen change out the stockers for some quality ones and prepare to be amazed because it will be a completely different car.

Good to hear, I'm adding Konis this weekend! 120 with the top down gave me a chubby! I want to hit 140+ with the top down, but at 120 the rear didn't give me much confidence so I let out. I hope with the new set-up it feels more planted. It was still pulling well in 4th when the wife asked me to slow down.

145 in my c5 Z06 felt scary...for some reason..maybe the tires i got

but 150 in my camaro is EASY...for me at least i was switching lanes at about 125-130...i know thats dumb but i had it under control...

it rides so smoooth...i just hate 2nd gear and 3rd..its only at the long 4tth gear....on the highway i think i top out in fourth gear at 132....

I bet they will not even do 170.

I have gone 160 and it never felt that exciting, (in my car, not a 2010 lol I just kinda hopped in here).

Main reason is power.
However the gearing is not right nor the aerodynamics.

Can one go 180+? I'm sure you could.. Stock? No.
