Default CAI Question?

Ok guys I know I might get grief for asking this but I don't have a money tree yet so I have to ask. Looking to put in a CAI to my 2010 SS but don't know exactly which one to go for and which one to stay away from. Your input is appreciated thanks.

Pick up this months GM High tech performance, they did a pretty thorough test. Honestly, after reading it, I would rather get an exhaust for the money though.

From looking at them and having a Volant on my H/C GTO I say get the Volant. It looks to be the best shield from timing pulling heat. Have fun and I say get some Headers next

Default Thanks!!!

I just recently put a Magnaflow Catback exhaust #16580. Got it for 789 plus tax. Everywhere else i looked they were ranging from 925 to 1300 bucks. I have used Volant before on my 2008 z71 truck that I had and I was very pleased with how much smoother it breathed when I got on it.

CAI and catbacks on these cars done see much gains. Probably more from a CAI than catback. I went with ADM because I liked the looks of it. They all function about the same (give or take a couple HP or so) so looks was my main criteria. Headers picks these cars up a lot. If that's something you're going to end up doing definitely make that high on the priority list.

If your looking for chep Texas Speed has a CAI now, pretty much the same as everyone elses. I was going to buy it but it took them longer to design it than it to Chevy to release the new Camaro.
