Default adding Oem RS headlamps to SS.

From what I have read it can't be done. Well I'm here to say it can be done. All the gm master techs said noway. it took some figuring but it's almost done. I had to make harness. But they are going to work like factory. If I get time I will post up some pictures.

You removed the factory SS headlight housing and replaced it with a RS light?
Do you have the factory SS housings?

Ok, so you added halos and HIDs in place of the stock halogens? Sounds good.

I replaced the factory headlamps w factory hid lamps. These do not plug up. I didn't want aftermarket lamps so I sucked it up and bought the factory hid lamps. About 700 a side. They would not plug up. Gm makes the car where it's not upgradable w factory parts. You change the harness and bcn module. And after programed still no lights. So I made a relays system and the lights work just like factory.

They actually make a decent looking aftermarket halo headlight for the camaro now. They are selling for $400 a set on ebay. I know its not factory, but its 1/4 of the cost.

Way to troll. Sometimes people don't do things because its the most fiscally responsible.

UGh they look horrible on the car. Seen some up close and it doesnt look nothing like the RS package. Looks like some flaky tube in the lights.

Wow. I can't believe that GM made it so incompatible. That's crazy.

Hids at any cost are worth it though.

Give it time untill somebody designs a aftermarket harness to make this happen.
