GM has a program right now. they are selling the bodies for racing purposes. I will have to try to bring it up on GM Global Connect.

They are on the GM Performance site under "Body In White". Mine actually came in white, but they can come in pretty much any color (you don't get to choose).

Any idea where NHRA is gonna factor those things? I called Glendora last week, and they didn't know squat...

Also, have you ran across any body/finish defects on your new BIW? Reason I ask is, we were trying to get info on the BIW for a while (we ended up buying a regular 1SS before the BIW became public) and the last info I saw said the bodies with defects would be pulled and used as the BIW cars...

This appears to be the only factory defect (lower rear quarter).

The tarp and straps did more damage!

What are you planning to do with your SS? If it is Stock/SS send me a PM.

Thanks for sharing Daren. Do you expect to be able to run a live axle setup?

What you see is what you get. I actually signed a contract that stated that I would take it in any state of damage!! It can also never see a public highway.
