Yup, my camaro refuses to give up my key. It happened last week until I punched the colum. Now it wont budge. Sumbitch.

appears your lock cyl. might be bad.

Yeah, it just kind of pisses me off that this already happened and the car is two years old with 29k on it.

bring it in for a warranty claim and get a loaner.

It appears you need to have the battery connected to get the key out of the ignition.LOL.

For the record though, it still wouldnt give it up last week with the battery connected.
