Thats what I fiigured it was going to be, now everyone can bitch about how this one is to heavy too! The car performs better then I excpected so far, I cant wait to see some 1/4 miles times! Enginering on this car is crazy, after seeing the lap time at the ring I am sure its going to do well.

very true, and as much as it pains me to see it weigh that much i think it will still be a good performer. but i mean... UNDER 4,000lbs id be more happy with it

Rode in, drove, worked on numerous Camaro's (every generation) from high school until my early 30s. Bought a 95 LT1 z28 Hardtop. Traded it for a 99 LS1 z28 Vert. Sold it in 2002. Bought a 2011 2SS Vert.
The new one, IMO, is the best Camaro Chevrolet has ever built. It isn't perfect but, I do like it.... a lot.

That said, now I'm leaning towards a ZL1 style hood. They look good and, now that I have headers and a blower, I can use the heat extraction.

I've been kicking around doing the stripes for a couple of months. The flat black ones look great on the convertibles with the black top.
