Probably could be reproduced for less money, but SLP has done lots of work I think. If I were looking for a car to collect (which I never am), I would consider buying one.

The SLP ZL cars are pretty sweet, it's better to buy them used or find one that a dealers hasn't been able to get rid of for a couple of years. Local dealer has a new 2011 2SS/RS ZL585 fully loaded w/ all options, had a list price of $66k car is now down to like $57k. Seen a few on ebay for like $47k or less used. Not sure why there are such a tough sell new, I'm sure they will have added value down the road and not too often you get a tuned car with Supercharger and exterior add ons with a warranty.
