Whats the need for a 12 rib upgrade on a D1? Is he pushing big boost ? How many #'s of boost, or is that top secret too? LOL
600+ is very subjective, could be as much as 700 rwhp, maybe more considering he's running dual fuel pumps and a BAP. Shouldn't be any complaints about belt slippage with the 12 rib. Very nice work fellas.

No one said that. Throw some rods & pistons in this thing, turn up the boost, and it'll kick the **** out of a Whipple'd GT500.
It'll probably kick the **** out of a Whipple'd GT500 as it sits Don't get caught up in what a dyno graph says. If that was a Livernois
owned car (not a customer car) you can bet it would be a missile at the track and on the street.

If you want to go with a Company car tuning the boost up and changing rods and piston then you should compare it to The Bull's [private car] Hellion upgraded turbo compound boost kit built short block GT 500 running 45 psi on E85. It flatten out the dyno software at 1200hp and 1100 TQ. Drives like stock. Stock, heads, stock block, stock cams, stock Eaton all stock accessories and stock weight. Ran 9.49 at 900hp and 32 psi. Now that is a rocket. He broke his pinon gear last outing so we don't know how fast of a rocket yet. But soon very soon. As for beating the **** out of anything I'll believe it when I see the Livernois built Camaro run faster.

Nothing in comparison? What do you want to bet Tony hits 8's with his 6 speed GT 500 before Livernois does it with a Camaro?

You're talking 8's. I'm talking 5's and 6's. GT500's are great street cars, but they are nothing at the track when talking about big time racing, which is what Livernois does.

I'd thought they were talking about with a procharged 600+ hp 6.2 liter engine was a customer's car.It had heads, headers, cam etc etc. I was commenting that that car was running less than a Whipple GT 500. Whipple Shelby's stock heads, stock 5.4 block and cams are putting down over 800whp.

Mobil sells E85. Its 2.35 a gallon down the street at Krogers grocery store. Its not a stupid comparison to a professionally built ***** to the wall Livernois car at all. The privately built GT 500 drives like stock until you get on it hard Tony says. I have ridden in a stock Hellion Kit running 17 psi and the car ran perfectly normal until it was stepped on and ran 10.3 on a 93 octane tune. Stock everything including drive shaft. The owner limited the boost to 17 because he didn't want to go more than 750whp with the stock drive shaft. I know you Chevy boys don't want to believe it but its true.

We are still talking about GT 500 and 2010 Camaros right? Well how fast are 2010 Camaros right now? I'm sure you know Evolution is running 7's right now. Do you think Livernois runs 6's and 5's with a full weight street car like Tony's? I think not. If so I'm all ears.

You're missing my point, which was that street cars are child's play to the guys at Livernois. 1200rwhp is literally nothing to them. Evolution is nobody in the world of drag racing. They have a 7 second car...great...lots of people do. How many races have them won with it and who have they beaten? Trust me, Livernois could run 8's no problem in a full weight street car if that was what they were focused on. They are amongst the best in the world in Pro Outlaw and in every class they run in. That's a fact. You must not follow drag racing if this is news to you. No problem though. Believe what you'd like. Enjoy your car.
