can you please expalin. in you posting you have 4" compressor inlets and 4" alum with KN filters. Up above i have it in red.
but the turbo pictures all show PTE's E cover which is a 3" inlet. and if you watch the last video in my quote. @ 4:23 you can see the 4" TB tube next to the filter tube and they are not the same...
im looking ot get a kit but i really have to know if i can get 4" inlets on it...
To avoid confusion. We make reference to the inlet piping as opposed to the discharge piping which is the "inlet" to the motor. The tubing (on the pressure side, meaning the discharge of the turbos is 3" from the turbos to the intercooler. Each turbo has its own feed into the intercooler insuring no pressure drop and no "post-compressor surge" all tubing exiting the intercooler going to the throttle body is 4"
As for the air filter intakes. Each turbo has its own inlet tubing as well. The tubing is 4" at the front and chokes down as it mates to the inlet of the PTE turbos. Again time went into designing a free flowing intake rather than simply putting a filter directly to each turbo and letting them hang under the car.
