Default 8.71@119 1kft 654whp VVT cam GPI

I just figured I would share some background on my car since I haven't here. I will post pics and dynos later from my PC.
2010ss:
Gpi VVT ss3 cam
Vortech v3si at 9psi
Kooks long tubes
2.5 catback
Pfadt springs, sway, control arms
Lg chassis brace
CircleD triple disk
Custom trans cooler
LPE 3.70 gears

Ryan at gwatney Chevrolet in AR has been tuning it...Gwatney Performance Innovations.
Just have a local 1kft track here so far the best is a 8.71@119. Cuts 1.5 short times consistently.
I will post a pic or two of the car, time slip, dyno...etc. It should run a 10.50 in the 1320'. It should if track prep is there. Going to NPR down in Louisiana in March sometime maybe.

It will flash about 3700-4000 at my power level. But that's how those are spec'd. And they are all build to exact order and spec. CircleD is pretty classy.
Your car being turbo...you would want a higher stall like mine...that will let you hold it up to about 1800 or so and let it build boost on the brake. Then let it eat. Flashing it on a turbo car will only work if the car spools fast...real fast.

I'm still N/A right now.the kit is on the shelf until I find the time to install it.
My best 60 ft is a 1.75
Pro stock john has less hp than me,and he's in the low 1.6 with ease.
Once i have the kit installed,i was thinking of changing the cam and the converter to go with the turbo's.Would like to try to go as fast as I can down the track with less boost.

Jeff's (camarojt) has gone low 1.5's with his car and his Circle D, very impressive. Martin I think at least 1.6. maybe 1.5's I don't recall off memory.

I need traction my 1.6's were all spinning. Hopefully I can get 1.5's next time out.

I saw a 1.49 once. Rhino was there, he witnessed it.

Best so far is a 1.60 with the 3.27 gears, I would love to see 1.55-1.59 with slicks soon. I really like the circle-d, yank is good too but man I like driving a 3600 converter that feels great around town when locked

timeslips from last outing. +250 DA that day.
the dyno is a cam swap only...same pulley for boost. That's a 110 whp gain for a cam change.

good color combination on your car.
I was going to buy white but since the Camaro was for her I let her pick banana yellow.

thanks Ray...it was my second choice and second 5th gen. First choice was silver with cyber gray stripes. Did that as RP6, rec'd June of 09. Sold it, got Avalanche year later. Year after having Avalanche decided to scale back to a car...wife said for me to go get another camaro...found this 2010 on the lot still July of 2011. DEAL. 7500 off sticker. It was the other color combo I wanted...I like the old 1st gen pace car look
