Recaro seats in 2014/2015 Z28
I am considering putting the new Z28 seats in my 70 Z28. That would be the ones that have the "Z28" logo stitched into the headrest. These seats are beautiful, but also expensive. Before I spend $3500 on two front seats, I need to know how they fit my big butt.
I am 6'0 and 280 lbs. Can anyone owning one of these give me any insight into what the comfort level is? It appears that there is no adjustment to the sides - so I'm figuring they have to be made to fit a wide variety of people...
I would love to sit in one, but not sure if any dealerships around still have any in stock... If there is anyone in the triangle area of NC that would be willing to let me have a look, I would be extremely grateful.
Also, if there is a better forum to put this in, I am all ears...
thanks.

Im not even remotely close to your body type. 5'10" and very slender at 155lbs, but I find the seats to be insanely comfortable, insanely high quality, and insanely good looking. I get tons of compliments on them.

I know there is someone out there my size who has at least sit in one.
Anyway, thanks again for your reply. I'll keep looking for a donor vehicle...

Maybe stop by a local dealer that has a Z28 or a Recaro optioned SS/ZL1 and test drive it to see how you fit? Won't be exactly the same experience since the inside feel of the car will be very different than your '70 but you'll still see how well the seats fit you.
