Please post results after weighing your Camaro SS here.
I'm trying to get independently verified curb weights for Camaro SS's and their options.

Please post your Camaro SS's options, where you weighed it, and what the results were.

Thank you.

Bump. No estimations. No factory or magazine curb weights. Lets please only hear from people that ACTUALLY put their car on the scale. Please also list how much gas was in the tank, whether you were in it or not, and any and all mods that would affect weight (IE, removal of parts, aftermarket exhaust, converter, tube suspension, wheels, etc)

Thanks.

Steven (wormboy) on here told me that when he made the 9.98 pass in the camaro LMR built. It wieghed 4220 with him in it. He weighs 120 lbs is what he told me. It had an LSX block in it with the passenger and rear seat taken out of it.

He also told me that everyone he has ran down the track wieghs anywhere from 3990 to 4020 with him in it depending on how much fuel is in the car.

When I ran my 1SS with Nitrous at the NMCA Maple Grove race it scaled at 4080 with me in the car.

When I ran the car at the NMCA Milan race it scaled 3920 with me in the car.

I go about 235 and the car is a stick. At Milan it had about 1/4 tank of gas and at Maple grove it had 3/4 tank. Still the differance points to a bogus scale.

I swapped out the LS3 and Manual Trans to a LSA Crate engine with a 4L80E transmission. I also removed the GMPP shorty headers and cat back exhaust and installed a complete Kooks system. Nitrous bottle is still mounted in the trunk.

At the NMCA LSX Shootout in Memphis it scaled at 4080 with about 1/8 tank of fuel.

The car is a 1SS with no options except for the polished 20" wheels.

Not too bad, I was on the dyno last week and finally got the trans to stay in 3rd gear for the pull. It runs out of fuel pump at 5500 rpm. At about 5700 the fuel pressure ir falling (40 PSI) and the A/F is heading up.

It made consistant 58x at the wheels with one pull at 594. Once I had the intercooler heat soaked it settled in at about 588. Torque is goofy since the car is an auto. The torque numbers are always suspect down low once you stab the throttle. It was showing 630 to 650 at about 3700 RPM. Some of that could be from the torque converter.

I can't drive the car on the street much more than a little throttle. It wants to spin the tires half way through 2nd and and then I have to lift.

I have a Areomotive Steath tank and system that I will install with a return style system. The bid dilema right now is if I want to pull the trigger on installing a solid rear axle.

That would solve a lot of problems

Our shop car came in at 3843# no driver. The front weight bias was 52.25% on the front and 47.75% on the rear...
