Nice Jon! How are you liking the 5th gen now that you've had it for a little while?

Hope all is well with you and the family

Jason, all is well! I miss the 96 T/A!

5th gen is awesome! Slow for the power... but an all around nice ride.

I am hoping to hit the dyno two Saturdays from now with more tuning, NW 102mm TB and Radical 102mm Ported LS3 intake manifold.

Keep the thread updated to see what gains there are with the nick Williams and the radical ported intake. Been meaning to do this to my ls3 Vette but wasn't sure if there would be midrange gains.

Unfortunately they didnt have my old run saved (so it could not be overlaid), but in the end I gained 3rwhp and lost 2rwtq peak. My WB wasnt matching up to theirs, so I eyeballed their numbers on the screen and tried to adjust my tune accordingly (hence why AFR was not a straight line). In the end I made 21 pulls ranging from 10.8AFR to 13.8AFR (seemed to like between 12.0-12.5AFR) and I tweaked timing from 17 degrees up to 25 degrees during tuning, I think it settled on 22 degrees if I recall.

Car made 458rwhp/423rwtq before the addition of the Peak Speed Radical 102 Intake and NW102 TB. After those two mods, new numbers were 461rwhp/421rwtq. Intake and TB didnt do anything for me, which leads me to believe they werent a restriction for me. I think the setup is just done in N/A form... big heads, turbo cam, small exhaust... i think it is just where it is.

A little disappointed as I wanted to hit 480rwhp... but the plan was always to turbo the car, and atleast I have a baseline before the turbo goes on this winter (Huron Speed/Precision 7675).

the 1 3/4 headers and 2.5 exhaust cant help at that power. Some 1 7/8 would probably gain 10 hp .

Maybe the exhaust is hurting. I would think a 6 speed car with heads, cam, intake, exhaust would make a little more than 458. Still pretty good power but just seems like it should be closer to 480 ish.

agree.

Car is back together with a 76mm Turbo... need to start street tuning when the salt on the roads is gone... then I'll redyno.

Lol, I know! Been super busy with work, family, and fabbing turbo kits for people. I'll get it going though, and post results (good or bad).

Dyno got shifted to yesterday. results:

Had an issue on the dyno with Ecu, bounced in and out of limp mode and was getting the p0606 code).

Called it quits at 608rwhp@10psi. Didn't want move timing up since I was getting this issue. I'll have to figure out the issue and go back.

Figured I would just post an update.

Still having some issues... Won't make peak power above 5400rpm, but it still pulled 703rwhp/762rwtq
