Default Anyone Remember???

Do you guys remember back in like 02 or 03 this Kris Horton Concept? How did we go from that kick *** looking new Camaro to this Ugly new pig we're getting. The new Camaro isn't totaly hideous, just the *** end from every angle. I just think that early design was pimp!

That wasnt a GM concept or even idea. Some kid won a design contest somewhere. GM noticed and built a model of it. Thats all that happened that i remember. Im sure theres more to the story and i hope others chime in but basically i think GM wasnt going to produce what GM didnt come up with.

I remember those.

In all fairness, none of those concept drawings are really all that far off what we're actually getting.

Oh, I loved those when they first came out! However, I like the real 5th Gen better than those (way better that that **** Moncory posted). The 5th Gen will be the best looking car on the road, IMO.

I actually like both the production model and Hortons concept. The tail light treatment on the Horton model i like a little better. JMO

I hate those pics from the first thread. I don't give two ***** about retro, I'm not a huge fan of the Challenger. The Camaro, while taking retro hits, has a more modern design in my opinion

I loved that concept when it first came out, but seeing it now, vs the production car?? the actual car wins HANDS DOWN and makes that concept look like ***

awesome job GM!

Obviously these concept drawings aren't as finished looking as a new vehicle that's actualy there in front of you. But none of you can tell me the *** end of the new Camaro looks better that the one in my first post. NO WAY
IMO, that concept looks more modern than retro.

I never cared for those Horton renderings, especially the yellow one. What an ugly grille, belongs on a truck. I think he did those when he was 16, his talent has gotten much better since then.

I like the production car more than that concept.
