Should get more out of it when the 416 is broken in, currently youre making same power as my stock "broken in" block with same mods + ported intake.

My motor had decent number of miles on it as well at the time. Made 489rwhp with 300 miles on the motor and made 507rwhp after 800 miles. Numbers were corrected for SAE. Would post up a dyno sheet, but currently in Germany and dont have a sheet on hand.

I want going to say this but my stock ci Ls3 is making 542 to the wheels in my Camaro. I still cant find a reason to buy one of these stroker kits when they dont seem to make any more power then a stock ci motor.

Damn, you have any headwork done? I think I'd pick up maybe 20-25 with heads but not enough to get 542...

all it has in it is a cam...
it's making about 120 more HP to the wheels then my cam only LS3 was making....
Yes it's a definant increase in HP, but the Torque is what I am liking...
and why must you crap on everyones ride...
I've read about your car, your flame war with LMR..
I'm happy for you..
didnt once say in one of your threads that your numbers where BS... an you come into my thread, and the first thing out the bytes from your Keyboard is...my car makes 542 on a stock bottom end...
I'm glad..
what mods you got???
all I have is a stroker kit and a cam...
intake, heads, and a few other things, and I am beyond your 542
to the wheels... but it's not that important to me to have the biggest set on here.. I have much better things to do...
I did the whole mine makes more HP, Mine is quicker than yours all it does, is create animosity towards you...

a word of advise... (friendly advise) Be humble..

It goes along way..
if some one says something nice about your car. say thanks and leave it at that...
no need to rub it in, or point out to everyone else what you are making...

I've said enough.... I will get down now

Flame me if you want..... I dont care...

Good result there mate it sounds awesome, It's all about midrange torque with these strokers not peak HP !!! Peak power means **** it's average torque that wins races and what you really want in a tough streeter. My 418 goes in tomorrow and hoping for similar result as yours with well ported heads, cam, LT's, Nick Williams 92 TB etc etc.

Don't worry about anyone criticising your ride there mate I think it's perfect and would have a 2010 Camaro in a heartbeat. My car however is quite a bit lighter.

cheers

nice results IMO

I'm sure these others at 500+ rwhp stock cube motors have far less midrange power/tq, so be happy with what you have man.

note :I'm not knocking OrangeChevyII or Jeramey in any way since they both have setups making good power.

We just did a 416 L92 based motor with stock unported Ls3 intake and made 482 rwhp through a 4L60E/9" rearend.

I'm sure with an intake swap you will see some good gains and then you always have heads to swap for more power.

good luck with the project
