Who thinks the last of the F-Bodies will go up in value because of the 2010 Camaro?
Like the title says, who believes the value of 4th gens will go up since they are TECHNICALLY the last F-bodies?
Personally, I don't care whether they go up or just flat out die and our cars aren't worth a damn, it'd just be a plus to having a valuable car I'll never sell.

eventually yes, like Aron said, clean and unmolested, no bad history or anything. i dont see them going for as much as the 1st gens are going for now but i can see them atleast going for what they sold for new.

Yeah, this has been talked to death already. Of course they will be valuable way down the road, probably another 12-15 years before the price trend starts swinging back up again. We have a long way to go in the 'down' cycle still. Enjoy your ride, keep it nice, and if you should hang on to it for the long haul, you will see a decent price one day.

What about 1LE's or 93 LT1's (speed density cars) that had the M29 6spd (rare) and the fact they started the 4th gens. Would that make a difference in value down the road?

I think would most other people think, which is that the value of regularly used LS1's will continue to fall until you can start picking them up for about 4 or 5K in decent shape and reasonable miles. Then in about 10 more years, those with really nice looking ones with low miles might be able to sell them for 50-75% of what they paid for it brand new... then again in 20+ years the really nice ones, whether restored or whatever, will start going for more than the price of a new one back in the 90's. And if at that time, a movie would just come out featuring them (like the charger in the Dukes of Hazzard), the price of true Z/28's or SS's, or T/A, Formula's, Firehawk's, etc. will sky rocket.
Just look up 88-93 V8 Mustangs on autotrader and look at the price ranges. You can pick up a shitty one for as little as $2,000 or less, and a super nice one will go for upwards of $25,000. This same thing will happen to the LS1's in about 10 more years. Hell, my 99 is already 9 years old!

I think that LS1 Z28's will drop a lot when the new camaro comes out because it no longer is the last. You will once again be able to buy a brand new camaro, f-body platform or not that name still remains. I would love to see LS1's come down around Lt1 prices. If I could pick up a 00 Z with around 100,000 miles for $4000 or less I would be extatic. I'm buying the 5th gen but I would love to have a cheap project LS1 for fun.

im sure the 4th gens will go down in value unless as stated before its an ss or something that was a rare option but prices have much farther to fall before they come back up i think we may see them go for as low as 2500 for a z28 in good shape but thats just my speculation i hope im wrong.
