Default Headers and a cam comming soon.

Decided to pull the trigger on the next round of mods. Long tubes with high flow cats and a mild cam. Specs on the cam are 226 INT 228 EX with .580 lift on a 114 LSA. I am hoping to see 450 HP untuned since the car made 413 HP and 410 TQ with just the GMPP axle back and Airaid CAI. Should be done in a week or two.

Yep.

Just the headers will wake the car up a lot. They arrive today, I keep checking the tracking number to see if they have been dropped at my house yet. This is like gearhead Christmas.

450 untuned? I just installed my cam and fired it up for the first time on Monday. Ive been driving it around to get some heat cycles on the springs before jumping on the dyno. I tried to slowly go up in rpm to give the valve train some exercise, and as soon as I hit 4k, the car went into limp mode. You change the volumetric efficiency of the engine when you change the cam, so even if you have a dyno tune, its going to have to be completely tuned again.

How big is your cam? I'm doing a pretty mild cam with a 114 LSA. The car will get a tune in a few months as funds allow.
