Hey guys,
Am in process of purchasing new 18 inch wheels. But am kinda going crazy with the sizes and fitments.
I am looking for something affordable and available (not a fancy *** custom....)
I was looking at the c6 GS front wheels or the TSW's but am not sure if they are good enough or they will be a direct fitting wheels to my vehicle.
Please share your experience.

I run a pair of the GS 18X9.5 40MM offset on the rear with drag radials and they work well. It's the front that might be a problem. I don't know if the 18x9.5's would even fit on the front and even if they did, would you want a 9.5 inch wheel on the front? They are great for a cheap drag wheel but they're not going to be what you want for a DD.

Also you need to define "affordable" before anyone can steer you toward a possible wheel choice.

I did not mean they would not be driver friendly. I meant that even if the 9.5" wheels would fit on the front, you might not like the looks cosmetically or would not want to run the larger tires on the front. I've seen them for less than $800 for 4.

TSW and Forgestar both make very nice direct fit wheels.

I wanted to have these wheels because I like the design and nobody else here has them.

18x9.5 ZR1 replicas front and back, 265 tires up front, 305's in back. Fronts require a 5mm spacer (4mm might fit), and some shaving of part of the spindle assembly:

I have the same set up as John. The Sport Muscle ZR wheels in 18x9.5" with a 40 mm offset are on close out at tire rack for $99. Put in an 2008 z06 to find them. I have 305/45r18 Nitto NT05r on the rear and some cheap tires on the front. I am running a 235/55r18 on the front. It is really to small for the rim but it works well because of the tall sidewall. I tried a 255/55r18 also but I didn't like the height and also didn't want to run a spacer. With the 255 I would have had to run a 5 mm spacer. I think it looks really good and everyone that sees it likes it. I was going to plasti dip the rims because I didn't think I would like the silver spokes. I didn't like it until it was mounted on the car. I would post a picture but I am not sure how. I will try to learn. I did also have to shave the top of the spindle. It was very quick and easy and no one would no it was done unless I showed them.
