Default New Camaro or New Challenger :) ???

I see many topics regarding the return of the Camaro... but... has anyone considered the new Challenger as an option???? I don't mean to sound like a traitor, I do love the fact that the Camaro will return, keeping muscle car history alive, I just want to see what you think, would anyone rather choose the new Challenger over the Camaro?

See the video of the new Challenger:

the challenger is very nice but its going to be heavier and most likely more expensive than a camaro. it couldve had a more modern design imo.

i still like it but i think a 5th gen. is just nicer.

I sell Dodge's for a dealer in upstate NY. They look really cool, but they are gonna be 4000 pounds. I'd rather have a 3700 pound L92 Camaro .

After driving a new C6 and mustang GT, I can't wait for the new camaro. It should be as fast as an LS2 vette and have as nice, if not nicer, interior as a stang. The challenger was my next car until I the concept camaro hit the auto shows. It looks better (the challenger is nothing more than a 1970 body on a charger chassis), should be faster, and is a GM. I just hope the SS will be reasonably priced and not like the GT500.

Tell me about it!! I'm not paying 45k for an SS. I hope GM does'nt price the 5th gen higher than what the average f-body enthusiast can afford. (like Ford did with the GT500)

Key factor would be pricing to stay competitive... I personally like both, I would stay with the new Camaro... but I can't deny that I also like the Concept Challenger

Yea, but look at the Mustang, its definitely reasonably priced. The GT500 was never made to be the bulk seller for Ford so there's a reason its more then the average person can afford...its more than just an average car. And from a performance stand point, its not that bad of a deal

camaro, i like how they got cues from the old ones and made a totally new car and didnt give in to the retro look trend....... dodge designers didnt even try on the challenger it looks almost the same, just go out and buy a 70's challenger

We’ll see, I personally think the Challenger looks way cooler then the new Camaro. It will really come down to witch gives you more bang for the buck. Either way I’m keeping my 99 Z28 to build up as a drag car .

I really like the new challenger too but its still 2nd to the new camaro in my book. The challenger is basically the same as it was way back as far as the exterior goes. The new camaro gives you a taste of the past and an awesome present.

You have to admit the new camaro has more personality than many if not all of these new cars!

I love my Camaros (and my Firebirds) but the new challenger is hawt . . . I'd never buy one, I mean it's a dodge, but it's sharp

i think the challenger looks really good. my only concern would be what type of aftermarket parts are there for it. with the LSx being in the camaro when it comes out, you will have a wide variety of bolt ons and internals to mod it. Are there any parts out for the dodge motors?
