Default 2007 Corvette vs. 2009 Camaro

Ever notice the very obvious family resemblance in these two cars?
I was poring over my images from 36th Annual South Florida International Auto Show and it suddenly occurred to me that there was a lot more in common between these two cars than first thought.
Take a look at nose and tail comparisons.

the back shot almost makes me want to think they are the same sized car....i've seen the camaro concept in person and it is just now dawning on me that it quite possibly could be the size of my car, or smaller...the shape of the car just fits more of a 2-seater than a 2+2...

Im in love with both....I wonder though if they will put a spoiler or an option for one on the production Camaro. Nothing oddly larger though of course, I just think Mustangs without spoilers look hideous, but Corvettes can pull it off.

im pretty sure when the guy designed the camaro he said he took styling cues from the vette, so thats why they look so close.
