Same blue car. 2SS with A8 automatic. More fun at the track today with some minor mods. Mods included hoosier slicks with 18lbs, skinnys with 40lbs, throttle controller and ported throttle body. DA was -332 at 100.98% and temp in the mid to low 50s. Runs were made with 1/4 tank of 93 octane and 220lb driver. Setup was track mode with traction control off. Runs started at idle and then just put it to the floor. No wheel spin. Track scale was closed so no weight available.

Here is the video:

Earlier in the day, we made about a dozen GY stock street tire runs with the same setup. My Son broke into the 11s for the first time. The car ran consistent 1.7-1.8 60fts, 11.90-12.0, and speeds around 117.5. The difference between an 11.9 and 12.0 was the start. It was cold so you had to do a John Force burnout to get a good 60ft.

Those are great numbers. I'm hoping for similar results next month. Street tires the first week end and drag radials the next in my 1ss Camaro with A8 and Npp.

Add headers and a cam and it will rip open a late model mustang GT with the same mods!

It'll be interesting to see the performance level Chevy delivers with a 6 gen 1LE or ZL1 iterations.

So what's the internet rule on Hero Runs. How many do you have to make to prove the point? Will video then be required? Will that video be a full track run or one that shows the tires and then somehow captures the entire run and the times? If I pass the video test, do I have to do a partial disassembly and show that it doesn't have a PTB? Will I need a scan to prove it doesn't have a tune? Can I run 1/2 tank of gas, 1/4 tank or must I run a full tank? Do I let the pump nozzle shut it off or do I need to fill it until it is at the neck ring? Does the windshield wiper tank have to be full or do two squirts count as weight loss? What if I meet all those requirements and get paired with a Mustang and win? Is it the Mustang drivers fault or was the DA better in my lane?

I'd just like to get it right next time at the track.

Here's a great 60ft time for a 2016 Camaro on factory street tires. The only mods that day were a ported throttle body, throttle controller and 1/4 tank of gas.

Ok, I do rant at times. But the point, I think, is fair. Subsequent post may prove or disprove my point.

im a first through 6th gen fan. as much as like my 5th gen i already want a 6th gen lol.

thats how impressed i am and i have no doubt what people are claiming what these cars run stock.

with a power increase and a weight decrease it adds up to an 11 sec. pass with no power enhancements.
