Default Is this worth the $$$ ? LS2 402ci

I am thinking about buying a turn-key engine from golen engine service. I have some $ that i can spend and Im a guy who wants the camaro around for awhile, so I am OCD about miles on the car... Right now its got the factory LS1 and Im thinking about swappin for a turnkey LS2 402ci from golen. My brother has a WS6 with 135k miles on his so hed take my old motor for some cash but there are alot of options out there and so ar i like the motor plus chad, the owner from the shop seems like a great guy to deal with. they want 9k for that motor but its complete. heres a link for the motor any insight would be cool.

Woah little pricey there since they are stock l92 heads. If you are going to stay n/a (I assume since that engine is 11:1scr), you might consider going with a few more cubes and better heads if you have 9k to spend. That motor should only cost around 7k.

For 9k, you might think about a 440ci LS7 or a 454 LSX if you want iron. Either way better heads and more power can be had for 9k.

440ci LS7 longblock with FAST LSXR intake and American Racing 2" stainless headers is the best n/a option if you arent going to spray imo.

9k is just a tad bit much. But, you are paying for convinience. Golen does build rock solid engines.

I just got an engine from them. I can not say much on it yet since it was just started yesterday, but it is getting tuned tonight. But I got the 402cid from them with slightly different specs. I also got those heads, but they had work done to them, they were not the stock heads just bolted on, but bowl ported by them with a valve job. I will post up the tune tomorrow.

Talking with them though, I can say that they are an amazing company. He was very helpful.
