Default So... What do y'all think?

I live in Hawaii (Oahu). There is no track and the roads SUCK (potholes everywhere and a max freeway speed of 60 mph) besides, the police don't mess around here!
Mods are in sig. I've decided not to do H/C or TC until I get back to the mainland (but I WILL be doing them when I move). I'll be on island for another 18 months and still feel the need to mod my car.
I'm not into "appearance" mods or stereo upgrades so....
What do y'all think? Are there any performance/good for the car mods that I can do? I know I'm missing some things.

Thanks for the input

I do not want to get a stall (TC) till I move.
And I should have clarified: I don't want to spend Thousands of $$$ at a time for each mod. Besides, no need to get a new rear end if my stocker will last.

Looks like you've done all the basics. There isn't much left to do but the more serious stuff.

You could do gears, but I'd get a stall first IMO. And you're not ready for the stall, so..... not sure what there is to do but drive it.

What is the reason for not wanting to do H/C or stall until you move? Lack of good shops for install or tuning?

The first reason I don't want to get into the more serious mods now is because it's so hard to go fast here anyway (road conditions and po po) AND shipping to the island sucks ***. Last but not least: there isn't a tuner for our cars on island!

how bout some decent shocks.

the qa1s aren't known for handling, and you say you don't have a track.

stock springs with Koni SAs would make the rough roads very manegable, most likely smoother.
down the road if you ever plan to lower it...you'll already have ideal shocks for it.

remember you can have alot of fun with a fast car...and not go over 60mph
i live on an island too...with LOTs of cops...i enjoy my car alot

I say maybe some suspension. Like LCAs, Adj panhard, and adj torque arm. Maybe some tasteful weight reduction. Hey that'll save on shipping the car back to the states too
