Default Pontiac's Future?

This might be in the wrong forum but here goes...
Does anyone know what is going on with Pontiac? As far as what GM plans on doing with the line of cars. The only stuff Ive found is that GM will be phasing Pontiacs out in 2010. I have a 98 Trans AM and Im just wondering if they are truly a dying breed.

Yeah, Pontiac is done, along with Saturn and Hummer. This is actually old news, but still pretty sad. The G8s were great cars...

The Firebirds have been a dead breed since 02, and now Pontiac shares that fate. As others have said, its old yet sad news.

Yes, Pontiac is over.

Not much loss at this point. Other than the G8, they had nothing good left in the line-up. Just like when Olds was shut down (2004 I think?), by that point they too were a shell with nothing much to offer.
