Air removal: What do I do with this?
Guys im taking out the air system in my car. I've cut the hose running to the passenger side header on the left, I've taken off the hose in the center running to the driver header and I've taken off the hose going to the air pump on the right. What do I do with these ports now? Do I just plug the little plastic hose thats going to the top of this thing and call it a day? Or can I just leave the whole thing back there just the way it is?

Yes, cap/plug the small line going to it. It doesn't take much to remove it, why would you leave it there after removing everything else?!? If possible, cut it as short as possible & cap it, Or remove it from it's source & plug/cap it.
No 'cutting' necessary when doing this !AIR/!EGR. Simply remove everything as one big assembled package.
Remove the AIR pump from the underside, in front of the front tire.
Edit: I was gonna say, there are numerous threads with more info on the 'how-to' here.
But must have been called away to my work computer, ..., at the other end of my desk, ...

just go ahead and remove everything. put a vacuum cap over the nipple on the back of the intake manifold. no 'cutting' necessary on anything. speed inc and texasautocraft.com make blockoff plates for the manifolds, or you could fab up your own

^^ I just pulled the line right off the back of the intake and got rid of the T that was there and plugged the HVAC line back into the back of the intake. And the TOP of the intake in the front is the EGR.

wait, am I missing something? What small nipples and plugs are you guys talking about?
All I removed from my car was the following(pic taken from the air removal guide):
Did I do something wrong? O.O
Edit: After more searching it seems like 98 and 99 cars differ from the later years?

Heres the rear view of the engine. The end of that hose with the check valve in it (in your picture also) plugs into a tee in the back. It's not that difficult to remove it and plug it.
