they discontinued it at speed inc. I ordered the pro 5.0 shifter for my '98 camaro z28 today at speed inc. I ordered it with the shortshift pkg which I believe its just the shorter shifter that's it, and a white 6spd **** then 20 mins later I get a call saying it has been discontinued at their store. Soo where can I pick up everything in one stop ? I have found a bunch of stores selling just the shifter but I want the short shifter too and the white ****.

Yeah they do have it like a few other stores does too but do they carry the short shift option too or a shorter stick I can buy speratly from the store and the white **** ?

I bought the lou's short stick when I purchased mine. The stick that comes with the 5.0 was threaded enough that I could have cut it to the same length as the short stick. I bought mine years ago so it might have changed.

Yes, and I've used them both. It keeps the same angle as the Pro 5.0 stock stick, just shorter.... Well I guess it's personal preference, if you prefer the angle or straight. I prefer the angled one.

I wouldn't know which one i would like better, the angled or straight. Why do you like the angled one better ? I heard lou's short stick is pretty good too.

As stated, it's all personal preference. I had a WS6store short stick for 3.5 years. Bought a UMI short stick on a whim cause there was a 15% discount on UMI products, so it ended up being like $21 shipped. Put it on, drove with it for about 10 miles, hated the angle, put the WS6store stick back on and it's been on for another 2.5 years to this day. You can easily sell the one you don't want for $20 to some local guy who is in the same scenario.
