Default what should i do??

i found out my car was in a wreck and the strut tower was pushed in so i wont be able to get it aligned right. the alignment guy said he did his best but the front tires sit / \ when looking from the front of the car. the drivers side tire is .5in from being completely flush with the fender while the pass. side tire is about 1.5in pushed in. the alignment guy also said i could take my car to a body shop to get the strut tower pulled out but there would be no guarentee that they could get it back 100%, which i dont like.

i know a guy that runs a dealership with alot of parts cars. some with no damage other than blown engines. all v6 bodys. they have everything except engine/trans but not titles. if i buy a rolling chassis to swap my stuff in how would i go about getting it titled?

or should i just sell the car and start over with a new car?

do a cross mesurement from the same place on both strut towers to the front radiator support and see how far it is and do you have a autobody school around they will pull it for free unless you need a new strut tower. ive done them befor there not that hard to replace them with the tools but you should mesure it and post it.

how do you replace the tower if it needs it? cut and weld a new one?

19.5in on the passenger outside (closest to fender) bolt to a bolt on the radiator support.
19.5in on drivers side outside bolt.

20in to from the inside (closest to engine) passenger bolt to bolt on radiator support.
21in on the drivers inside bolt.

Body shops should have no problem straightening out the strut towers. With the tools they have these days they can do amazing things to a wrecked car.

they can pull that is there and cracks or kinks ive pulled cars that were 8" off apart and cut two cars and welded them together . and yea if it come down you cut the stock spot welds and replace it at the stock seams. but they can pull that for sure. if there no rips or kinks. id look at the front bumper support and see id it swong one way. i get a esstiment for sure and see how far and were else its bent.

If you did a carfax check before buying it, they have a buyback guarantee. I don't know the details but you might look into that and see if it applies to your situation.

That is of course, if the car was actually in an accident. Are you able to establish that in any way or are you solely getting it from the dude who tried to align your front end?

If the accident wasn't reported Carfax won't stand behind it. Can't expect them to take the blame for something that was unreported.

That is solely from the alignment guy.

What other than a wreck would cause the wheels to lean and the drivers side wheel to be closer to the fender than the passenger side?

yeah i agree with the estimate part, but unless they can make it as good as new, id start looking for another car. Other than safety reasons, it might just start causing more problems (big or small) in the future.

Worn suspension parts can cause that, and hopefully the alignment guy checked that out and knows what to look for.

Strut mounts or the struts themselves and control arm bushings could be worn. It's possible the drop springs are throwing off the geometry of the suspension too.

struts and springs are new. forgot to add that. up top where the struts bolt to the tower is the nipple supposed to be perfectly in the center? is there a package deal i could buy all the bushings as a set or have to buy indiviually?

If the struts aren't centered more than likely the strut mounts are worn out. They should always be replaced when new struts are installed.
