Question Flames coming from exhaust. Should I be concerned?

I was told by a friend that at night he could see blue flames at one point coming from my exhaust. Car runs good, no issues, no misfires or anything. Another friend told me at another time he saw blue flames shooting from my exhaust at night while during shifts. We were cruising around one night, and I romped first gear from a stop, and when I shifted to 2nd he said flames came out of the exhaust.
I have no cats, so is this normal? It's not shooting 10 foot orange flames, but little blue ones. I've inspected the plugs, and they appear to be burning good, not black or fuel fouled. I'm not sure how long it's done this either.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Do you have cats on the car? I have a Magnaflow Catback and an O/R Y on mines, everything else stock and it will do a quick orange flash at times when I let off the gas at high RPM's. I've read other peoples cars on here doing it too, I don't think it's that uncommon when you have a high-flowing exhaust.

Trans am WS6 - i have no cats.
Glad to hear others are having same issue. I've never seen any other car do it before (unless it had the old hot rod/ricer flame thrower kit) lol.

My Vette gurgles and has some small backfires on decell and downshifts. I haven't had anyone tell me about a flame but I caould imagine the backfires causing that. I have cats and stock manifiolds but a Corsa muffler set up.

Its not a big deal, you come off full throttle and chop the throttle all that unburnt fuel has to go somewhere and its just that burning off... Its not anything to worry about...

Yeah, pretty normal for some cars at times, as long as it doesn't continually burn
Some people pay to get that effect
